Gregory M. Wickern, M.D.
Gregory M. Wickern, M.D. earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed a residency in Pediatrics and his Allergy-Immunology training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He served as a physician in the United States Air Force for 26 years. He was a busy clinician and also held many positions of responsibility including command of several Air Force medical units in Texas and Iraq. He finished his distinguished Air Force career as Chief of Medical Staff at Wilford Hall Medical Center, the Air Force’s largest hospital with more than 700 physicians on staff.
Prior to joining Asthma & Allergy of Idaho, he practiced with Intermountain Allergy and Asthma in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He joined Asthma & Allergy of Idaho in December of 2008, and sees patients in the Twin Falls, Burley, and Hailey, Idaho offices and in our Elko, Nevada office.
Dr Wickern is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy & Immunology, and a member of multiple state, regional, and national allergy professional societies.
