Kenneth J. Wakefield, M.D.

Kenneth J. Wakefield, M.D. earned his degree in medicine from the Wayne State University of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Wayne State University. Dr. Wakefield completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Wright-Patterson USAF Medical Center, which is affiliated with Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. His allergy-immunology fellowship was completed in San Antonio, Texas at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center.

Dr. Wakefield is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI). He joined Asthma & Allergy of Idaho in 2006, serving the Coeur d’Alene, Sandpoint and Moscow communities.
