Richard E. Henry, M.D.
Richard E. Henry, M.D. earned his degree in medicine from the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Oregon State University. Dr. Henry completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at David Grant USAF Medical Center, which is affiliated with the University of California, Davis. His allergy-immunology fellowship was completed in San Antonio, Texas at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. He has previously received appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor at St. Louis University and University of California. He joined the Asthma & Allergy of Idaho practice in 1992.
Dr. Henry is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), and holds memberships with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), and the American College of Physicians (ACP). He is founder and past president of Intermountain West Allergy Association and is still serving on the Executive Board. He is currently Vice Chairperson of the ACAAI National Committee on Geriatrics.

Gregory J. Kadlec, M.D.
Gregory J. Kadlec, M.D. earned his degree in medicine from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Kadlec completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was in family practice from 1969 to 1975 in Twin Falls, Idaho, then completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is currently certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He also completed his fellowship in allergy-immunology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and established Asthma & Allergy of Idaho in 1979 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Dr. Kadlec is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), and holds memberships with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), and the American College of Physicians (ACP). He served as an Executive Board Member of the Western Allergy Society for many years and is a Committee Member on Drugs for the American Academy of Allergy & Immunology.

Kenneth J. Wakefield, M.D.
Kenneth J. Wakefield, M.D. earned his degree in medicine from the Wayne State University of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Wayne State University. Dr. Wakefield completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Wright-Patterson USAF Medical Center, which is affiliated with Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. His allergy-immunology fellowship was completed in San Antonio, Texas at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center.
Dr. Wakefield is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI). He joined Asthma & Allergy of Idaho in 2006, serving the Coeur d’Alene, Sandpoint and Moscow communities.

Jennifer Watson, F.N.P-C
Jennifer A. Watson, F.N.P. received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Nursing, and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the Whitworth College of Spokane, Washington. She worked from 1999 to 2005 as Nurse Practitioner for the North Idaho Asthma, Allergy & Immunology Clinic in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Ms. Watson joined the practice of Asthma & Allergy of Idaho in 2005. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American College of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology Association, the Nurse Practitioner Group of Spokane, and the Medical Reserve Corp of North Idaho.

Winston “Pete” Petersen, P.A.

Winston “Pete” Petersen, P.A. earned his Physician
Assistant degree from the Des Moines University
Osteopathic Medical Center. He joined Asthma &
Allergy of Idaho in the fall of 2007 after working in
Utah as a clinician since 2003. Prior to becoming
a physician assistant, he worked as a radiology
technologist for many years after receiving his Bachelor
of Science in Radiologic Sciences from Weber State
University. Mr. Petersen is certified by the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He
was born and raised in Idaho.

General Laboratory Manager - Karen Kaster - Med Tech (ASCP)
Karen graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. She completed a clinical rotation at Utah Valley Hospital. She is registered as a medical technologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She is also a certified pollen counter with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology's (AAAAI) Aeroallergen Monitoring Network. |

Our medical staff consists of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified medical assistants, certified lab technicians, and a registered medical technologist.
Our office staff is here to make your visit as comfortable as possible, and to keep your information updated to best serve you. They do their best to schedule convenient appointments for you and handle all of your insurance billing needs. They have considerable skills, and their goal is to help you have a pleasant visit to our office. We have a certified professional coder and an insurance specialist on staff to manage your insurance claims.
